Cleaner SE and Cleaner SC - free from genetically harmful substances

Our highly effective cleaners, Cleaner SE and Cleaner SC, are used globally to clean moulds used in plastic injection moulding companies. Coming into contact with the spray or vapour released by the product is normally unavoidable for the user in most cases. Not least for these very reasons, the chemical regulations (REACH) mean that more and more substances must be comprehensively studied to determine their potential impact. As part of this, the chemical "n-ethyl-2-pyrrolidone" (NEP) was examined. This is used by many manufacturers as a solvent and plasticiser. In this case, as with NMP, a reproductive toxicity effect was discovered, and the material's chemical hazard classification was raised at the end of 2011.

We took this information very seriously and responded early last year. In a study conducted in-house and externally with renowned producers, we very successfully tested the effectiveness of new solvent components. Cleaner SE and SC offer you the same powerful solvency effect and bandwidth using the new solvent component with an additional advantage of a more pleasant smell. And, best of all, the low-risk substance classification remains the same and your employees will thank you. We are setting a good example!

Cleaner SE, when used in a timely fashion, will remove deposits from tools without significant disruption to production. Cleaner SC contains a concentrated solvent and is specifically designed for manual cleaning of tools which have been removed and cooled down.
